With our Student Rewards Program you'll have the opportunity to earn up to $10,000 in future compensation while you gain valuable experience working in our hospitals.

While enrolled in veterinary school, for every calendar you in which you spend a minimum of 160 hours as a Banfield team member, you'll be eligible for an incremental $2,500 in compensation after you are hired as a full-time licensed veterinarian. If you spend at least 160 hours working in all four years, you'll be eligible for the maximum incremental compensation of $10,000.

You may earn the 160 hours needed each year to qualify for Student Rewards by participating in any of these activities:

  • Working part time in a Banfield hospital
  • Serving as a Student Ambassador
  • Completing an Externship
  • Participating in our Student Job Program

Smart Start

How would you like to start receiving a paycheck during your senior year?

We've developed a special new program just for senior veterinary students. If you have completed a summer job, externship or served as a student ambassador with Banfield during veterinary school, you are eligible to start receiving your Student Rewards earnings during your senior year of veterinary school. Several students are eligible to start receiving their earnings of $10,000 this year!

By signing on now to join Banfield after graduation, you will be eligible to start receiving your Student Rewards earnings during your senior year. You can sign on as early into your senior year as you wish, but no later than February of your graduation year.
